These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of guardr.io and related services ("Service") operated by Guardr ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Guardr is a website security scanning and uptime monitoring platform. The Service performs external checks on websites you specify, including TLS/SSL configuration, security headers, DNS settings, exposed files, cookie security, and HTTP availability.

Important: Guardr provides informational security assessments only. Scan results are not a guarantee of security, a substitute for professional security audits, or a form of penetration testing. We scan only publicly accessible configurations — we do not access your servers, source code, or internal networks.

2. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to only scan and monitor websites that you own or have explicit authorization to monitor, not use the Service to scan websites for malicious purposes including reconnaissance for attacks, not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service, not resell or redistribute scan results commercially without our written consent, and not circumvent rate limits or other usage restrictions.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

4. Plans and Pricing

Free Plan

The Free plan includes 1 website, weekly security scans, 5-minute uptime checks, and 7-day data retention. No credit card is required.

Paid Plans

Paid plans (Solo, Starter, Pro, Agency) offer increased site limits, scan frequency, uptime check intervals, data retention, and additional email alerts including security grade drop notifications and SSL certificate expiry warnings. Current pricing is listed at guardr.io. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

Fair Use

All plans are subject to reasonable usage. Automated or scripted use of the Service beyond the documented rate limits may result in throttling or account suspension.

5. Billing, Payments & Cancellation

All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy handles all tax and VAT collection globally.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on your selection. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then and won't be charged again.

No refunds are provided for the current billing period upon cancellation.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that scan results and uptime data are retained according to your plan's retention period, you may export all your data at any time using the "Download My Data" feature, and you may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time using the "Delete Account" feature.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Guardr. Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the websites you scan or the data generated from your scans. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Availability and Disclaimers

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that scan results are complete, accurate, or current. Security configurations can change at any time, and our scans reflect a point-in-time assessment. We are not responsible for any actions you take or fail to take based on scan results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guardr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise).

10. Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. All data will be permanently removed.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or fail to pay for a paid plan. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe or repeated violations.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the process described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our website at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
